About CollectorLanes.com

Collector Lanes — built by car guys and car girls, for car guys and car girls.

CollectorLanes.com is an online auction marketplace for vintage, classic, and special interest vehicles — organized in lanes, just like a real auction. Think of each lane as its own room at a live sale, dedicated to one type of car and the collectors who follow it. From pre-war classics and American muscle to JDM imports, exotics, vintage trucks, and motorcycles, there is a lane for every collector.

Browsing is free. Joining is free — just sign up with your email. A card on file is only needed later when you are ready to bid.

The Lanes

•

Classics

Pre-war and early postwar collector cars through roughly 1948 — Packard, Duesenberg, Lincoln, Buick, and the great American classics.

•

Postwar

Postwar models from the late 1940s through the early 1960s — Cadillac, Thunderbird, Bel Air, Impala, Buick, and Oldsmobile.

•

Muscle

American muscle and pony cars — Ford Mustang, Shelby GT500, Pontiac GTO, Plymouth Barracuda, Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, and Camaro.

•

Sports & Exotics

European sports cars, grand tourers, and exotics — Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, McLaren, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce.

•

Modern Classics

Cars from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s that are now collectible — Nissan Skyline, Toyota Supra, Mazda RX-7, Honda S2000, Acura NSX, Audi R8, Subaru WRX, and Datsun 240Z.

•

Trucks & Off-Road

Pickup trucks, SUVs, and off-roaders — Ford Bronco, Ford F-100, Chevrolet C10, Jeep, Land Rover, and anything built to leave the pavement.

•

Customs & Restomods

Modified, restomod, and custom-built vehicles — hot rods, street rods, Pro Street builds, and anything that goes beyond stock.

•

Oddities & Others

Microcars, kit cars, replicas, military vehicles, and anything that defies a category — Volkswagen Beetle, Volkswagen Bus, Mini Cooper, Fiat, and one-offs.

•

Start Your Lane

Private collectors, dealers, and estates can create their own named lane to sell a full collection.

•

Automobilia & Parts

Gas station signs, neon signs, auto art, gas pumps, NOS parts, engines, and collector car memorabilia.

•

Motorcycles, Superbikes & Scooters

Vintage and modern motorcycles — Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycle, Triumph, BMW, superbikes, cafe racers, and scooters.

Start Your Own Lane

Private collectors, dealers, and estates can create their own named lane. Minimum five cars, up to one hundred. There is no per-car listing fee for vehicles in a named lane.

Your lane starts as a private workspace. You list, photograph, and describe each vehicle at your own pace. Once at least five listings are complete and approved by our team, the collection lane goes live on the site. Every car in your lane also appears in its matching genre lane — so a 1969 Camaro in the "Bob Jones Collection" lane also shows up in Muscle.

Who can start a lane?

  • • Private collectors selling a personal collection — muscle cars, exotics, vintage trucks, or anything else.
  • • Dealers listing specialty inventory for enthusiast buyers.
  • • Estates liquidating a collection on behalf of heirs or executors.

How Bidding Works

No Reserve

The car sells to the highest bidder regardless of final price. No minimum.

Reserve

The seller has set a minimum price. If bidding does not reach it, the car does not sell.

Reserve Met

Bidding has reached or passed the reserve. The car will sell to the highest bidder.

Every listing has a Questions and Comments board where buyers can ask the seller anything before bidding. Vehicle location is shown as city and state.
