CollectorLanes.com
CollectorLanes.com is a curated online auction marketplace for vintage, classic, and special interest vehicles. Here is how the process works from start to finish.
1. Preview Bid
Browse listings in your lane and place a bid during the five-day preview window. Preview bids are real, binding bids — they go on the book. The high preview bid carries into the live sale night.
2. Sale Nights
Every Thursday and Saturday, 8:00–11:00 p.m. Eastern. Each car gets one hour on the block — the 8:00, 9:00, or 10:00 p.m. wave. One live car per lane per wave.
3. On the Block
No extensions — the last bid standing at 0:00:00 wins. Watch the lamps: No Reserve (always selling), Reserve (minimum not yet met), Reserve Met (green — the car is selling). If nobody raises the preview high bid during the live hour, the high preview bid holds.
4. Close the Deal
Buyer and seller are connected to finalize payment and vehicle transfer. Collector Lanes is the auction floor, not a party to the sale. See Bidding and Fees for the full fee schedule.

List a VehicleIs there a buyer's premium?
Yes. A 5 % buyer's premium is added on top of the hammer price ($500 minimum, $200 for motorcycles). Charity-lane cars carry a 2 % premium. Full details on the Bidding and Fees page.
Can I inspect the car before bidding?
Sellers may offer in-person inspections. Use the Q&A section on each listing to arrange this before placing a bid.
What is a reserve price?
A reserve is the minimum price the seller will accept. If bidding does not reach the reserve, the vehicle is not sold. No-reserve listings always sell to the highest bidder.
